GP Earnings

All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (average pay) for GPs delivering NHS services to patients at each practice. The required disclosure is shown below.

For the financial year 2023/ 2024, the average pay for GPs working at GP Pathfinder Clinics was £79,559 before tax and National Insurance.

However, it should be noted that the prescribed method for calculating earnings is potentially misleading because it does not account for the number of hours worked by the doctors. Therefore, this figure should not be used to form any judgment about GP earnings or to make any comparison with other practices.
